Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in need of support. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care settings, and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. This role involves working closely with clients to promote independence, safety, and well-being through personalized care.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain confidentiality at all times
Skills
- Experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments preferred
- Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Flexibility to adapt to different care needs and client routines
- Valid certification in caregiving or relevant training is a plus
