Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our dynamic team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, supporting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring the smooth progress of building activities. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new skills in the construction industry. Prior experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
- Support carpenters, masons, and other trades by carrying tools and materials to designated areas
- Help with site cleanup, debris removal, and maintaining a safe work environment
- Assist in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials under supervision
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery as instructed
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and injuries
- Support the installation of structures such as framing, drywall, or flooring as directed
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and teamwork
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not mandatory
- Basic understanding of construction tools and materials is advantageous
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks on-site
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings
