Hilton Winnipeg Airport Suites is looking for a Banquet Set Up Server to join our team! The Banquet Set Up Server a true ambassador for the Hilton Winnipeg Airport Suites. Our Banquet Set Up Servers support our team and guests, setting up and taking down function spaces and preparing for meetings and events while providing exceptional service to our guests and upholding all manner of brand standards.
Qualifications:

Sets up and takes down meeting and function space as per the event plans and directions.

Serves menu items to guests in a prompt and courteous manner and according to the banquet event order; times the service of courses to correspond with the dining pace of the guests.

Performs pre- and post-shift side work; set-up, condiments, etc.

Clears table after service. Removes trays of dirty dishes, silverware and glassware to kitchen for cleaning.

Clears room at end of banquet of all props and centerpieces and properly returns to storage.

Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.

Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.

Follows company policies and procedures.

Full knowledge and understanding of emergency procedures;

Previous experience in customer service, preferably in hotel environment

This position involves evenings and weekends and preference will be given to candidates with previous experience.
