Archibald Builder Group is seeking skilled and motivated Carpenters + Apprentice Carpenters to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in new construction of multi-family and commercial construction. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, ensuring quality craftsmanship and safety standards are met at every stage. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute precise carpentry work.
- Construct, install, and repair frameworks such as walls, floors, ceilings, and roofing using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform concrete forming and rebar installation for foundations and structural elements.
- Install cabinetry, flooring, tiles, siding, and other finishing components with attention to detail.
- Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged woodwork and structures.
- Measure accurately and cut materials to specifications using saws, drills, and other woodworking tools.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in carpentry or related construction fields with a strong understanding of woodworking techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings confidently.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material calculations.
- Experience with masonry, roofing, siding installation, plumbing, electrical work, or manufacturing is a plus.
- Familiarity with concrete forming, rebar installation, tile laying, flooring installation, caulking, drywall finishing, and construction painting.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to project needs; handyman experience is advantageous.
- Physical stamina for extended periods of standing, bending, lifting heavy materials safely, and working at heights when necessary.
