Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing concrete surfaces, ensuring high-quality results on various projects including commercial, residential, and restoration sites. This role requires a strong understanding of concrete finishing techniques, as well as the ability to work with a variety of tools and materials to deliver durable and aesthetically pleasing concrete surfaces.
Duties
- Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and trowels to achieve smooth, level finishes
- Install rebar and formwork according to blueprints and schematics to prepare for pouring concrete
- Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks such as lifting and positioning forms or materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure precise execution of projects
- Perform masonry, caulking, flooring installation, and other related renovation tasks as needed
- Assist with concrete pouring, curing, and sealing processes to ensure proper setting and durability
- Conduct restoration work on existing concrete structures, maintaining safety standards throughout
- Collaborate with carpenters, welders, masons, and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of waste materials
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment and tools
- Proficiency in rebar installation, concrete forming, and blueprint reading
- Experience with masonry, restoration, renovation, flooring installation,
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Skilled in using hand tools such as trowels, floats, chisels, and caulking guns
- Familiarity with schematics and construction drawings for accurate project execution
- Strong knowledge of concrete finishing techniques including smoothing, texturing, and sealing
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Knowledge of safety protocols in construction settings to prevent accidents or injuries

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
