Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children, ensuring their well-being and development through engaging activities.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and supportive environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide care for children with varying needs, ensuring inclusivity in all activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom setting conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social skills and emotional growth.
- Monitor children's behavior and provide guidance as needed to promote positive interactions.
- Document daily activities, milestones, and any incidents that occur during care.
Requirements
- Proven experience in caregiving or early childhood education is preferred.
- Familiarity with children's developmental milestones and needs considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and staff.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children are essential qualities.
- Must be able to provide clear Vulnerable Sector Check and valid First Aid and CPR.
