RoboKids is a STEM-focused robotics camp for children, using VEX IQ kits to develop engineering thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. We are seeking an experienced Camp Supervisor to lead our team and ensure a safe, structured, and engaging environment for all campers.
Responsibilities
- Hold primary on-site responsibility for the health and safety of all campers and staff
- Supervise and support camp counsellors throughout the program day
- Manage daily scheduling, activity transitions, and incident response
- Serve as the primary point of contact for parent and guardian communications
- Uphold and enforce RoboKids' policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in a camp, school, youth program, or comparable setting
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
- A patient, educator-oriented approach to working with children and staff
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR certification, or willingness to obtain prior to the start date
- Vulnerable Sector Check required
Assets
- Educational background in teaching, child and youth work, or a related field
- Familiarity with STEM, maker, or hands-on learning environments
Compensation: $20.50–$23.50/hr
Pay: From $20.50 per hour
