Summary
We are seeking an experienced Property Administrator to join our team in Edmonton. This role is vital in supporting our property management division by ensuring efficient operations and exceptional service delivery. The successful candidate will contribute to the growth and success of our company and has a strong desire to advance to management position.
Responsibilities
- To provide administrative support to the overall day to day property management operation through building strong relationships and providing effective coordination with tenants, vendors and contractors, including all aspects of property accounting, leasing activities, tenant inquiries, account receivable, and marketing.
- To maintain timely and accurate controls of transactions, data entry and posting, including tenant information, leases, rent rolls, payment of rents and deposits, maintenance requests, work orders, purchase orders, vendor invoices, employee timesheets, supplies and inventories.
- To prepare and process tenant notices, rent collection and documentation through RTDRS.
- Assist in budgeting and financial reporting related to property operations.
- Uphold company standards in compliance, safety, and tenant relations.
- To provide office administration supports and other administration related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on property administration/accounting experience.
- Minimum 3 years' working experience in YARDI property management software.
- Post secondary diploma or certificate in accounting or property management;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills in a team oriented professional business environment.
- Knowledge of the Alberta Residential Tenancy Act and property management best practices.
- Result oriented with a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment to deliver quality results within deadlines.
- Detail oriented with strong time management, multi-tasking, problem-solving skills.
