Cold Lake Brewing & Distilling Co. is looking for a dependable, motivated Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join our team. Our kitchen may be small, but it's fast-paced, efficient, and built around teamwork. We're looking for someone who enjoys working hard, takes pride in their work, and is ready to step up when needed.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and cook menu items with consistency and attention to quality.
- Assist with food prep, organization, and maintaining a clean kitchen.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining food quality.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Help with inventory, restocking, and keeping the kitchen running smoothly.
- Support and communicate effectively with the front and back of house teams.

- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is required.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask under pressure.

- Leadership qualities and the confidence to help guide kitchen operations when needed.
- A solid understanding of how restaurant kitchens operate, including food safety, workflow, and service standards.
- Experience using Convotherm ovens and TurboChef ovens is a strong asset.
- The ability to remain calm, efficient, and focused during busy rushes.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
