Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a passion for food, strong attention to food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. As a key member of our kitchen staff, the Line Cook will ensure that all meals are prepared to high-quality standards and delivered promptly to our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed at all times
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality
- Serve dishes promptly and accurately to guests or servers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food industry standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Experience with food industry standards and restaurant operations is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
