L.G. Home Comfort is growing across Ontario, and we’re looking for experienced Senior HVAC Technician Contractors to join our team.
Whether your strengths lie in service and troubleshooting or installation and system setup, we want to hear from you. Based on your experience and certifications, you’ll focus on either service, installation, or a mix of both — all within your local and surround regions (no need to travel across the province).
As part of our skilled field team, you’ll work directly with homeowners to deliver exceptional comfort solutions through expert workmanship, professionalism, and customer care.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on your skill set and experience, your duties may include:
Service & Maintenance
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and boilers.
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service calls.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to homeowners.
Installation
- Install, replace, and commission residential HVAC systems including furnaces, A/Cs, water heaters, and heat pumps.
- Ensure installations meet code, manufacturer, and company standards.
- Conduct system start-ups and ensure optimal performance.
- Lead or assist installation crews depending on project size.
General
- Maintain accurate records of work performed through mobile tools or written forms.
- Ensure all safety protocols and local HVAC codes are followed.
- Keep a clean, organized work area and company vehicle.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of HVAC experience (service, installation, or both).
- Valid G2 or G1 Gas License required.
- 313D or 313A Refrigeration License an asset.
- ODP (Ozone Depletion Prevention) certification required.
- Strong technical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in various environments (attics, rooftops, crawlspaces).
