-
Coach, motivate, and provide direction to a team of warehouse team members during live events.
-
Coordinate the distribution and replenishment of food, beverage, and operational supplies to concession locations throughout Canada Life Centre and Burton Cummings Theatre.
-
Monitor concession inventory throughout each event to ensure locations remain stocked with the right products in the right quantities.
-
Assign work, provide direction, and adjust priorities throughout each event to ensure inventory is delivered accurately and efficiently.
-
Coordinate the collection and return of remaining inventory from concession locations following events.
-
Prepare the warehouse for the next event by ensuring inventory is organized, accurately stored, and ready for the next event.
-
Use inventory management software to track inventory movement and maintain accurate records.
-
Participate in inventory counts and support month-end inventory processes.
-
Assist with receiving, organizing, stocking, and rotating food and beverage inventory.
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
-
Perform other duties as required that align with the responsibilities of the role and the needs of the organization.
What we need from you:
-
High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Previous experience in food service, hospitality, warehousing, inventory control, or event operations is considered an asset.
-
Previous experience leading or supervising a team is considered an asset.
-
A confident communicator who is comfortable motivating others, providing clear direction, and making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
-
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing operational needs.
-
Comfortable using computers and learning inventory management software.
-
Basic mathematical skills and attention to detail.
-
Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
-
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
-
Availability for a minimum of 75% of all events at Canada Life Centre and the Burton Cummings Theatre, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
