Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various products and surfaces, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Operate various power tools such as spray guns, brushes, rollers, and wands efficiently and safely
- Apply paint and coatings with precision, following detailed work instructions and safety protocols
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues related to painting tools or machinery
- Assist with assembly or machining tasks as needed to support production workflows
- Maintain a clean work area by organizing tools, disposing of waste properly, and adhering to lean manufacturing principles
Experience
- Prior experience in new home painting environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and sprayers is an asset
- Understanding of lean manufacturing practices helps improve efficiency and quality standards
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
