Role Summary:
CPP Investments is seeking a strategic and commercially minded Managing Director, Talent Business Partner (TBP) to advise senior business leaders on organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, workforce strategy, and culture. Reporting to the Managing Director, Head of Talent Advisory & Development, the role partners closely with Department Heads and leadership teams to shape talent strategies that drive business performance and long-term organizational success.
As the lead talent advisor for the portfolio, the successful candidate will influence executive decision-making on leadership, succession, organizational design, workforce planning, and talent risk. The role leads team members and collaborates across Talent Centres of Excellence and corporate functions to deliver integrated talent solutions and enterprise-wide organizational priorities.

Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, succession, and team performance.
Deep expertise in organizational design, succession planning, leadership development, workforce planning, and change management.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources , Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field; advanced degree and/or CHRL/CHRE preferred.
