The team behind Dovetail is expanding with the opening of Bevel, a new restaurant concept coming to Vancouver. We are seeking experienced leaders to join our growing group, with placement at either Bevel or Dovetail based on fit.
THE OPPORTUNITY: SENIOR MANAGER
We're looking for confident, experienced hospitality professionals who excel at building strong teams, maintain a high level of attention to detail, and are committed to delivering thoughtful, memorable guest experiences.
THE ROLE
This role is centered on delivering exceptional hospitality, cultivating a strong base of loyal clientele, and leading a service-driven team while ensuring operational excellence and business performance.
- Lead the guest experience from end to end, setting the tone for warm, attentive, and elevated service standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, fostering loyalty, repeat business, and a sense of community.
- Actively network within the local market to grow brand awareness, attract new clientele, and strengthen partnerships.
- Maintain a strong and visible presence on the floor, engaging with guests and supporting the team during service.
- Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing front-of-house team focused on hospitality, professionalism, and consistency.
- Drive revenue and profitability through service excellence, upselling strategies, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure a polished, organized, and welcoming environment that reflects the brand and enhances the guest experience.
- Collaborate with ownership on initiatives, events, and programming that elevate the brand and drive traffic.
- Continuously refine service standards and processes to improve guest satisfaction and overall performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience as a full-time restaurant manager.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with operational tools (e.g., Google Drive, scheduling systems, POS reporting).
- Experience with staffing, scheduling, and performance management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making under pressure.
- High level of accountability and professionalism; receptive to feedback.
- Open availability to meet the needs of the business and ensure leadership presence during key operating hours.

Pay: $65,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
