Jing Wang Law Professional Corporation is a multi-practice law firm located at Woodbine Avenue and Steeles Avenue in Markham. We are currently seeking a Front Desk Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, responsible, and professional individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and make phone calls to clients, insurance companies, opposing counsel, medical institutions, and other third parties in a professional and courteous manner
- Greet clients and visitors and provide general front-desk support
- Schedule appointments for clients and coordinate meeting times with lawyers and legal staff
- Prepare, assemble, and organize various legal and administrative documents
- Send contracts and documents to clients for signature using DocuSign and follow up as needed
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and courier packages; prepare outgoing mail
- Maintain calendars, assist with scheduling, and support lawyers and legal staff as required
- Handle other administrative tasks and office support duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative, receptionist, or office support role, or completion of a relevant administrative diploma or certificate
- Fluent in English and Mandarin; Cantonese is an asset
- Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Office); experience with DocuSign is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and able to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
