Job Summary:
Britannia Fleet Services is seeking a Licensed Truck Technician (310T) to join our growing team. In this role, you will perform essential maintenance and repair services on trucks and trailers, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. We offer a generous signing bonus and 4 day work week!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services, with a focus on trailers.
- Conduct thorough inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturer’s performance specifications.
- Carry out scheduled maintenance services.
- Install various new units on trucks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Qualifications:
- Active and valid 310T Certification registered under Skilled Trades Ontario.
- 2-3 years of practical experience in motor coach and heavy truck maintenance.
- Proficient in the use of all tools of the trade, including welding equipment, paint equipment, shop machines, and power tools.
- Valid Class “G” driver’s license for the Province of Ontario.
- Ozone Depletion Prevention Certification is preferred.
- Strong judgment and tact in handling general inquiries.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (over 75 lbs), such as trailer suspension parts, tires, and drums.
Wage:
- Starting hourly rate of $40/hour + a $6000 signing bonus for Licensed Technicians.
