We are seeking a talented and personable Licensed Hair Stylist or Barber to join our vibrant salon & Spa team. This position is a Month to Month Chair Rental. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hair styling, exceptional customer service skills, and a professional demeanor. The licensed stylist / Barber will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services, maintaining sanitation standards, and supporting retail sales initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and salon success.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling tailored to client preferences
- Deliver outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and understanding client needs
- Maintain strict sanitation and cleanliness standards in all work areas and tools in accordance with health regulations
- Manage own clientele & scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling own payments efficiently
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests
- Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and product knowledge to provide innovative services
Qualifications
- Valid barber or Hairstylist license as required by local regulations
- Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio of work preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and retain clients
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon setting
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is a plus
- A friendly, professional attitude with a passion for the beauty industry and helping clients look their best
