Warehouse Clerk
The Warehouse Clerk in Langley, British Columbia, is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations through administrative coordination, transportation planning, and customer service. This role typically involves managing documentation, coordinating shipments, ensuring accurate billing, and facilitating communication to support efficient operations.
Core Responsibilities

Administrative Support: Processing billing, scanning documents (BOLs, MTRs), and maintaining accurate records.

Customer & Driver Service: Assisting customers and drivers via intercom, directing them to the appropriate doors.

Transportation Coordination: Coordinating and scheduling delivery and pick-up appointments to support daily operational requirements.

Logistics Documentation: Creating and updating digital transfer manifests and ensuring shipment accuracy.

Data Management: Maintaining files, invoices, and other administrative records.

Communication: Coordinating information flow between warehouse staff, supervisors, and customers to support daily operations.
Required Qualifications & Skills

Education: A high school diploma is the minimum requirement. Post-secondary degree or diploma in business administration, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative, warehouse, or logistics support role, within a metals, manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).

Soft Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills; excellent attention to detail; effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Typical Working Conditions

Environment: Office-based, within the branch or warehouse setting.

Hours: Full-time, Monday through Friday with one hour unpaid lunch.

Physical Demands: Primarily sedentary with extended periods of sitting and computer use; occasional standing, walking within the warehouse, and light lifting (up to 20 lbs).
Compensation Information - $23.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on experience
Work Schedule - Flexible; part-time hours available based on business needs.
