Service Advisor (3-Day Work Week!)
Looking for a part-time role where your experience is valued and your days go by fast? We’re looking for a Service Advisor who loves working with people, solving problems, and keeping a busy service department running smoothly.
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday & Friday (Additional shifts may be required to cover vacations or time off)
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Service Advisor, you’re the friendly face and trusted guide for our service customers. You’ll help them understand what their vehicle needs, keep work flowing through the shop, and make sure every customer leaves feeling well taken care of.
Customer Experience & Sales
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers
- Confidently recommend maintenance and repair services
- Explain technical information in a clear, easy-to-understand way
- Assist with resolving customer concerns when needed
Service Coordination
- Assess customer needs and coordinate service repairs
- Work closely with technicians, forepersons, parts, and management
- Confirm parts availability, warranty coverage, timelines, and approvals
- Help keep the daily service schedule running smoothly
Accuracy & Quality
- Create and review detailed, accurate work orders
- Double-check repair documentation and completed work
- Participate in final vehicle checks to ensure quality repairs
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in an automotive service environment
- 2–3 years as a Service Advisor (preferred)
- Comfortable handling repairs and customer situations
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- Great communication and organization abilities
- Confident using dealership management systems (DMS)
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
Education
- High school diploma required
- Automotive or business education is an asset
