We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CPA Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical accounting knowledge, and experience with accounting software to support the organization’s financial operations and reporting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Prepare and review financial statements, month-end and year-end reports, and supporting schedules.
- Conduct account reconciliations and financial analysis to ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records.
- Maintain and improve accounting procedures using software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or equivalent accounting platforms.
- Assist with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, accounting standards, and internal company policies.
- Prepare and coordinate documentation required for external audits and work closely with auditors as needed.
- Support tax filings, remittances, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business operations and decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
- CPA designation (required or in progress, depending on company preference).
- Proven experience as a CPA Accountant, Senior Accountant, or similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience with account reconciliation, financial analysis, payroll processes, and month-end/year-end procedures.
- Familiarity with tax compliance and audit preparation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
