We are seeking a talented and personable Makeup Artist to join our beauty and wellness team. Responsibilities
- Perform professional makeup application tailored to clients’ preferences for various occasions, including special events, photoshoots, or daily wear.
- Provide additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, and nail care as needed.
- Deliver personalized consultations to recommend suitable products and styles that meet client needs.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment in accordance with health regulations.
- Engage with guests at the front desk, offering product demos and upselling beauty products and services to enhance client satisfaction and sales.
- Ensure excellent guest services by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client inquiries professionally.
- Assist with retail sales by educating clients on product benefits and promoting additional services or upgrades.
- Support team members in maintaining the overall aesthetics of the salon or spa environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Makeup Artist or in a similar beauty service role.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in beauty treatments.
- Skills in makeup application, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, and nail care are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatments clearly and promote products confidently.
- Ability to work well in a team environment while providing personalized guest services.
- Retail sales experience and upselling abilities are preferred but not required.
- Flexibility to adapt to client needs and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
