We at Wiebe Properties are excited to find a fun-loving and dynamic Residential Building Manager to join our team and our brand-new apartment in Abbotsford, BC. This beautiful new building will be pet-friendly and consist of 130 units.
For over 45 years Wiebe Properties has been building and managing multi-family residential, commercial, and industrial buildings in Abbotsford and throughout the Fraser Valley. Your Role:
As the Residential Building Manager, you will live on-site and oversee the daily operations of the property on a full-time (Monday to Friday) basis. As part of this role, you will also be on-call during weekday evenings and overnight for building emergencies. You will provide residents with kind and responsive service and ensure that the buildings are secure, clean, and well-maintained. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Leasing and renting the residential units
- Interviewing potential tenants over the phone and in-person
- Performing suite showings to prospective tenants
- Performing reference and background checks
- Utilizing and maintaining lead management tracking and maintenance software as required
- Completing lease agreements and amendments
- Collecting security deposits, monthly rents, and other fees/payments
- Maintaining the building’s appearance and functionality, including cleaning, painting, light repairs, and snow shoveling
- Managing and organizing outside building contractors when required to complete repairs and maintenance work in the property and apartments
- General administrative duties
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Residential Building Manager in a pet-friendly building
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Reliable transportation
- Exceptional computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Must be able to live on-site
- Must be a resident of Canada or possess the appropriate documentation to legally work in Canada

Pay: $52,500.00-$62,500.00 per year
