What We Are Looking For:
- Full time year-round
- 310T mechanic Optional
- Reliable, punctual, wanting a place for long term growth.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and demonstrate initiative.
- Valid G class clean license is a must
- Tractor, Skid steer, Excavator repair experience is an asset
- Welding, fabricating is a strong quality we are looking for
- Automotive electrical repair
- On call in winter time to operate our mobile service truck during plowing events
While working for Higgins Hardscape, you will be responsible to perform a variety of duties and responsibilities but not limited to:
- Managing fleet of 15 diesel trucks plus multiple machines.
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and machinery.
- Repair or replace faulty parts.
- Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections prior to expiration.
- Keep accurate records of work performed.
- Submit receipts to the front office desk before each day's end.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 2 – 5 years related experience desired
- Must be experienced in mechanical maintenance.
- Provide and receive constructive feedback from shop employees.
- Keep the shop clean and make sure it is a safe working environment.
- Must have a valid & clean G class drivers license.
- Your own Transportation to get to and from our shop in Waterdown.
- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions.
- You're looking for year-round work with interest in working during all 4 seasons.
