Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes and supporting the overall kitchen operations. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation according to recipes and standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
- Support meal preparation by chopping, slicing, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and utensils throughout shifts
- Assist with plating dishes for service and ensure timely delivery to guests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet service deadlines and uphold restaurant standards
- Follow serving guidelines to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth operation during busy hours

- operating grinders, ranges, griddles, fryers, broilers and toasters
- Identifying equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitation need
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food safety standards is advantageous
- Restaurant experience demonstrating ability to work efficiently under pressure is desirable
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices in meal preparation and food handling is a plus
- Prior experience with serving or working in a fast-paced kitchen environment will be beneficial
