Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to help support construction projects and manage daily operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, comprehensive knowledge of Electrical Stations and Powerlines, good communication skills, and the ability to complete daily/weekly reports and tracking processes via Microsoft programs. This role involves working with the owners and hired contractors, completing field reviews, progress and deficiency tracking, ensuring schedule alignment with construction while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Duties
- Monitor Electrical and Power line Contractors to ensure alignment with contracts.
- Daily reporting on progress, quality and schedule
- Meeting involvement with owners, contractors and designing engineers
- Review of Change Orders, and RFI’s and schedule updates
- Assist in logistical process’s
- Electrical and Powerline material reviews
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to design specifications
- Prepare daily reports on project status and coordinate with clients and stakeholders for updates and approvals
Requirements
- Class G Drivers License
- Power line Technician or Electrician with Station and Powerline experience
- Proven experience in Electrical Stations and Powerline construction or related roles with a strong background in construction projects
- Proficiency in reading Engineered Drawings
- Familiarity with construction processes
- Effective time management skills to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing contractors and subcontractors
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards within the construction industry
- Experience in Construction Management
