Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated 3rd Year Electrician to join our team. This role involves performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in various residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electrical systems, a strong understanding of schematics and blueprints, and the ability to work safely and efficiently on complex projects. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to execute project plans accurately
- Use hand tools, power tools, and low voltage testing equipment to complete electrical tasks
- Perform wiring, conduit installation, and grounding procedures according to code specifications
- Assist in the construction and assembly of electrical components during new installations or upgrades
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople to meet project deadlines
Skills
- Proven experience as a commercial electrician
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, blueprints, and construction practices
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and low voltage testing equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret complex schematics
- Familiarity with working on low voltage systems as well as high voltage applications when necessary
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Commitment to safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment
Pay: $27.30 per hour
