Expected Wage Range: $60,000 - $80,000.00 per year
As a Project Coordinator, Technical Services at CIMS LP, you will be a key contributor towards CIMS success by assisting with the adoption and implementation of systems by teams at the construction project level while embodying CIMS corporate values of Our People, Our Promise, Our Passion.
You will report to the Director of Project Services and be accountable for:
- Supporting the end-to-end creation of proposal/RFP/presentations, and response tools.
- Guiding the proposal team in developing winning proposals using CIMS’ ERP and project management systems and continually improving the proposal process through best practices.
- Showing project teams how to import and manage pay items, CBS/WBS, schedules and other items into InEight.
- Training project administrators to use project related procurement systems in ERP (Business Central) to generate requisitions/purchase orders and perform system financial receiving.
- Teaching project staff on project related forecasting (ex. Syncing actuals from ERP to InEight and vice versa, updating Cost & Revenue Forecasts for PM review and approval, etc.)
A successful candidate would be an individual who has:
- Experience with InEight and MS Business Central or other project management and ERP systems is required.
- Completed a Technical Degree or equivalent education (considered an asset).
- Experience in construction coordination (drawing reviews, contract administration, document management, change order procedures, etc.) (considered a significant asset).
- Proficiency in computer Office Suite applications, i.e. Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- An energetic, collaborative and team-oriented attitude.
Working conditions you can expect while performing your role include:
- Travel will be required.
- Working with project teams in operating plant facilities including pulp mills, refineries, smelters may be required.
- Comfortable with a fast-paced, often nebulous work environment
- May be required to work outside of normal work hours.
