We are seeking a motivated and energetic Line Cook/Cashier to join our dynamic restaurant team. This versatile role combines food preparation and cooking with excellent customer service as a cashier. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Assist with meal preparation, ensuring timely service during busy hours
- Operate cash register, process transactions accurately, and provide friendly customer service at the front counter
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety regulations
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Engage with customers in a professional manner, addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Strong serving skills with excellent customer service abilities
- Ability to handle food safely and efficiently during high-volume periods
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
