Position: Systems Administrator
Department: Technical Infrastructure
The Systems Administrator is responsible for providing technical support for all network and technology related hardware and software issues to ensure the ongoing usability of desktops, laptops, servers and peripherals for GuestTek’s internal systems usage. This is an intermediate position that will bridge the gap between desktop support and server administration.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide day to day support to all employees.
· Configure and maintain desktop, laptops and server systems.
· Set up and administer end user computing accounts.
· Assist with network maintenance.
· Participate in support and administration of the Avaya phone system.
· Provide IT-related training for end-users.
· Schedule projects to meet delivery dates and commitments.
· Keep abreast of technology advances in computer hardware and software.
· Other IT related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 1-year technical diploma from recognized institution or 3 years IT support experience.
· Experience troubleshooting a wide variety of computer software and hardware problems and implementing standard configurations.
· Support and troubleshooting of Windows 7-10 and Office 365 applications.
· Experience installing and troubleshooting Windows Server 2008 R2 – 2016.
· Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
· Experience working with Microsoft System Center
· Experience troubleshooting and working with Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business
· Experience troubleshooting network issues and working with Cisco and Palo Alto hardware.
· Management of servers using Hyper-V virtualization.
· Linux experience is an asset but not required
· Administration and experience supporting Avaya VOIP telephony system
· Salesforce experience is an asset but not required

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
