Title: Courier Delivery Driver
Reports To: Dispatcher
Territory: Scarborough
Hours of Work: 10 hours working day
PURPOSE:
The courier delivery driver would oversee delivering 200-300 packages per day throughout the Scarborough region, thus should have a flexible working schedule to accomplish the task methodically with corresponding physical capabilities.
The Package Delivery Driver position is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, and delivering packages that may weigh up to 40 lbs. Package Delivery Drivers must have excellent customer contact and driving skills. The driver is expected to maintain vehicle hygiene and help other drivers as requested by the dispatcher.
Additional job duties include carrying out vehicle pre and post-examinations and diligently recording the vehicle's daily mileage and gas usage. The delivery associate should exhibit all duties by following safe driving habits. you’ll be on the move during your shift as you deliver packages from the delivery vehicle to the customer's doorstep

All candidates are required to pass interviews, criminal history checks, & should have a clean driver's abstract to qualify for the role.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Exceptional customer service and attention to detail
Time management and organizational skills
Must possess a valid Ontario G-class driver’s license and
No accidents and maximum of 3 demerit points for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months)
Courier delivery experience will serve as an asset
Proactively manage the customer’s perception and level of satisfaction with our service.

Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment
Able to effectively maneuver in highly congested traffic areas
Proficient in using a smartphone device
Flexible schedule would be preferred
Follow and execute company-established safe/defensive driving methods
HOURLY WAGE: $19 / hour
