We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and kitchen protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques in meal preparation.
