Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Mover/Packer to join our team. This role involves assisting with the safe and efficient movement, packing, and loading of goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting tasks. Prior warehouse experience and familiarity with commercial driving or forklift operation are a plus but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in logistics and customer service while contributing to smooth operations.
Duties
- Safely move items within the warehouse using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as forklifts when trained.
- Pack goods securely for shipment, ensuring items are protected during transit.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory management by organizing and labeling products accurately.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency.
- Support warehouse operations by performing additional tasks as needed, including commercial driving if licensed.
Experience
- Previous experience in moving, packing, or warehouse operations is
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions.
- Ability to follow safety procedures diligently and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role is vital to ensuring the safe handling of goods while providing excellent service to clients and maintaining operational standards within the warehouse setting.
Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
