Zenco Hydrovac Excavation is looking for a hydrovac operator to join our team. Must have a class 1 or 3 and able to drive manual transmission. Preference of operators with hydrovac or vacuum truck experience but not necessary. Position is to start asap.
The position includes in town and out of town/camp work. 70% of work is in town or day trips.
We are fully client based so hours may vary depending on time of year. Shop hours are available when the trucks are not on jobs.
Duties include:
-Completing pre and post trips
-Drive to and from worksite
-Working with clients to complete tasks once on site
- Maintaining equipment including oil/fluid changes, cleaning, winterizing, and light mechanic duties
- Must follow direction and be coachable
- Complying with all regulations
- Must follow all safety regulations and participate in the safety program
- Able to work with others
- Must provide drivers abstract
- Must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing and complete a criminal record check
- Current training certificates an asset but not a must - WHMIS, TDG, Ground disturbance, H2S etc
- Willing to work all hours, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work out of town as needed
A class 1 or class 3 licence with manual transmission experience is a requirement. Please apply only if you have either of these licences.
