Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Oilfield Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting equipment, materials, and freight to and from oilfield sites, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and heavy equipment operation, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles to transport freight, equipment, and materials across various locations within the oilfield industry
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation for all trips
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on trucks and related equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during transportation activities
- Assist with the operation of heavy machinery or equipment when required
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate schedules and deliveries efficiently
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record
- Experience operating trucks in the oilfield or freight transportation industry
- Ability to handle freight securely and efficiently using appropriate tools and techniques
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and transportation in oilfield environments
- Physical ability to load/unload freight, operate heavy machinery, and perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Excellent communication skills and reliability in meeting deadlines
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
