About Us:
The Veith House Urban Farm is an inclusive space where people of all ages can gather and grow together. The farm is located beside Veith House itself, a non-profit organization that serves as a community hub and strives to provide community members with relevant social services. Veith House currently has 22 raised beds, a 25X50’ greenhouse, a perennial pollinator garden, and a community chicken coop. Throughout the spring, summer, and fall, we harvest produce that is freely distributed to community members. Much of the produce is also shared through our community meal program.
Our Mission:
The Veith House Urban Farm aims to improve community access to locally grown produce. We also aim to equip community members with the tools to grow food off-site through education-based programming and resource sharing. We are dedicated to improving food security and sovereignty within the North End community and beyond.
