Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Support the overall operation of the kitchen by adhering to health regulations and safety guidelines
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line/prep cook in a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of the food industry standards for cleanliness and safety
- Serving experience is a plus, along with familiarity with meal preparation and food service operations
