Reporting to Management, you will play a key role in the ongoing success of our amazing landscaping team. This is a permanent full-time position.
Landscape Crew Lead
We are looking for an experienced Landscape Crew Lead to manage crews in the field, help deliver high-quality landscaping and hardscaping projects. This is a lead role for someone who takes pride in quality work, communicates well with team members, clients, and leads by example on every job site. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, has high attention to detail, is comfortable balancing jobsite problem-solving, client interactions, and crew leadership.

Responsibilities
- Crew Leadership: Lead and coach field crews on-site, keeping the team motivated, productive, and focused on quality.
- Maintenance Oversight: Lead landscape maintenance teams to ensure high-end, detailed property care.
- Pruning & Plant Care: Execute precision hedge and tree pruning, and apply a strong understanding of plants and practices.
- Weeding & Bed Care: Proficient at ensuring garden beds are meticulously maintained.
- Hardscape Construction: Build landscape features from the ground up, including retaining walls, pathways, and fences.
- Site Preparation: Oversee and execute site prep work, including grading, excavating, and layout setup.
- Equipment Operation: Experience safely operating heavy machinery and standard power tools (weed eaters, hedge trimmers, mowers etc.).
- Irrigation Service: Troubleshoot irrigation systems, manage small repairs.
Requirements
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of solid landscaping experience, with a proven track record of managing a crew and leading maintenance teams.
- Comfortable working in the field in all weather conditions.
- Construction & Hardscaping Skills: Strong knowledge of hardscape builds, fences, grading, and excavation practices is an asset.
- Machinery & Tool Proficiency: Comfortable operating heavy equipment, standard landscaping power and hand tools effectively.
- Horticultural Knowledge: Solid understanding of regional plants, proper planting practices, and correct pruning techniques.
- Irrigation Basics: Practical experience with irrigation troubleshooting, small repairs, and system installation is an asset.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to handle physical labor daily, repetitive tasks including regularly lifting 40 to 80 lbs.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

- Safety Tickets: Occupational First Aid, Fall Protection, or other safety tickets are an asset

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
