Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Handyman / Maintenance Worker to join our team. This position is well suited to someone who is practical, adaptable, and capable of handling a wide range of property maintenance and repair tasks with limited supervision.
The successful candidate will be responsible for general repairs, routine maintenance, and basic building upkeep. This role requires someone with clear experience in hands-on maintenance work, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Perform general repairs and maintenance across the property.
- Complete basic carpentry, painting, drywall patching, and finishing work.
- Assist with light plumbing, minor electrical, and small installation jobs as needed.
- Carry out routine inspections and identify maintenance issues promptly.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented property.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Work independently while following company procedures and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a handyman, maintenance, or property upkeep role.
- Strong practical skills and the ability to work on a variety of tasks.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work safely and professionally in a guest- or tenant-facing environment.
- Valid driver’s license and own tools are assets.
