WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Our goal is to grow and scale our business. To do this we are looking for a highly capable person that works well within our small team and can help us grow our sales, brand exposure and customer relationships in North America. Over time, this individual will become a strong ambassador for the Interior Felt brand and the values we stand for.
We are looking for an organized individual with an aptitude for relationship building. The ideal candidate is tenacious, takes initiative, demonstrates , and is open to task variety and learning. It is important that this individual strives to become knowledgeable in the many intricacies of the business such as customer service, production, and outside and inside sales.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
· Outside and Inside Sales.
· Reporting to the General Manager.
· Communicating effectively with clients to gather necessary details of a project for pricing, production planning and expectation setting, etc.
· Being the main point of contact for common questions from Designers, Architects and Contractors.
· Ensuring project details are compatible with production processes (particularly with custom orders).
· Educating clients on product details and installation best-practices.
· Networking and relationship building through cold reach-outs (email/phone) to prospective clients – you will receive a generous amount of guidance and support in this at the beginning.
· Account management and CRM.
· Tracking internal progress of projects through proper communication with multiple departments.
· Ensure proper information has been gathered and procedures are followed in the sales process.
· Coordinating in-person and virtual meetings/product presentations.
o Traveling to different cities for some of these meetings, trips typically range from 2-5 days, approx. 6-10 trips per year.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 3–5 years of professional experience in sales, account management, customer service, or the architecture & design industry .
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
· Highly organized and detail-oriented.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
· Passion for design, architecture, interiors, and creative problem solving.
· Comfortable learning new systems and software.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
NOT MANDITORY BUT IS AN ASSET:
· Experience within the architecture & design (A+D) industry.
· Experience with architectural products, commercial interiors, furniture, textiles, acoustics, or construction-related products.
· Sales or business development experience.
· Education or background in interior design, architecture, or related fields.
