We work primarily on commercial piece work projects but also have the opportunity to work in the residential piece work sector as well. Thiessen Interiors is a thriving company with little to no down-time. We have projects available from January to December. Competitive compensation is provided based on experience and willingness to succeed.
Requirements:
-Must be physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs. on a daily basis
-Must have strong work ethic and be a team player
-Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license and have transportation to job sites
-Must be reliable & punctual
-Must be an excellent communicator, both spoken and written in English
-Must show a willingness to develop skills and grow with the company
Responsibilities:
-Handle material related to installation
-Provide and use accurate measurements
-Work efficiently to reduce/eliminate waste
-Regular job site clean up
Expectations:
-Arrive at work on time and prepared for the day ahead
-Be respectful towards co-workers and clients
-Be capable of self-motivating
-Adhere to Safe Work Practices and Procedures and communicate any hazards/unsafe conditions to an immediate supervisor
