Job Summary
We are currently hiring a Diesel/Truck Mechanic or an individual with hands-on experience working with trucks. This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of experience who is looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing diesel trucks to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and truck systems, including brakes, suspension, and electrical components
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and manuals
- Assist with repairs, part replacements, and general shop duties
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete jobs efficiently
Qualifications & Experience
- 2–3 years of experience working with diesel engines, trucks, or similar vehicles
- Basic knowledge of truck maintenance and repair procedures
- Familiarity with tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop practices
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and working with heavy equipment
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00-$49.86 per hour
