The Bulk Company Driver will operate super-b hopper units and liquid tankers to transport and deliver materials to customers. Duties include long-haul driving, loading and unloading procedures, maintaining e-logs, and ensuring equipment is operated safely and efficiently. This role requires initiative, dependability, a high standard of safety, and strong customer focus.
Key Responsibilities

Operate super-b combination units to transport and deliver loads to customers

Perform trip inspections on equipment to ensure safety and roadworthiness

Maintain daily logs, trip sheets, inspection sheets, and required paperwork

Comply with all provincial, state, and federal laws and regulations including hours of service and occupational health and safety

Communicate daily with the dispatch team regarding load details, safety concerns, and scheduling
-
Ensure proper cleaning of hopper trailers to prevent cross contamination

Operate anhydrous ammonia trailers following company training and regulatory requirements

Operate super-b liquid tankers and safely handle hoses with product
-
Maintain a clean driving record by following proper safety precautions

Monitor and maintain reasonable fuel economy

Maintain a clean and tidy interior and exterior of tractor and trailer
-
Climb into hopper trailers for cleaning purposes as required
-
Complete other duties as assigned

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Valid Class 1A driver’s license

Minimum two years of super-b experience preferred

Deck experience is considered an asset

Ability to safely operate a tractor-trailer on highways and in city traffic

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Ability to communicate in English

Ability to use a smartphone or mobile device

Strong knowledge of the importance of avoiding cross-contamination

High standard of safety awareness

Ability to pass DOT and random regulated drug and alcohol testing

Valid commercial driver’s license

Willingness to fulfill full-time hours as defined by DOT regulations

Strong customer service skills

High level of patience
-
Ability to exert force up to 50kg
