The Vintage Conservatory is a private members' club for wine enthusiasts seeking to entertain and do business whilst enjoying bottles from their own collections. The VC provides a secure, welcoming and controlled setting for like minded individuals to share their passion for wine, wine education and renowned private dining. We are currently seeking professional, service-driven Servers to join our team.
About the Role
As a Server at Vintage Conservatory, you will play a key role in delivering polished, attentive service for member dining, private events, and tastings. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a refined environment and has a genuine interest in wine and hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Provide warm, professional, and knowledgeable service to members and guests
- Execute food and beverage service for seated dinners, standing receptions, and private events
- Confidently speak to menu items, wine selections, and service standards
- Set up and break down event spaces according to venue guidelines
- Work closely with the front-of-house team and sommelier to ensure seamless service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas at all times
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience in an upscale restaurant, private club, or event setting
- Wine knowledge is a strong asset (WSET/ CMS certification or formal wine education)
- Professional, polished demeanor with strong communication skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Strong attention to detail and a team-first mindset
- Smart Serve certification required
