We are currently in need of an experienced 309A Apprentice Electrician (3rd or 4th Term) to join our team to work along side 309A Licensed Electrician. The successful candidate will be responsible to install/repair wiring, lighting exterior and interior, electrical devices, electric heating, all electrical distribution equipment and associated electrical equipment, read and interpret blueprints, and comply with all current electrical codes as well as supervising and training electrical apprentices on the job. Qualifications:
- 309A Apprentice Electrician (Canadian Experience)
- Must be able to work well on a team
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills for electrical installation and repair of electrical systems and equipment,
- Have strong interpersonal communication skills.
Job Duties:
· Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations
· Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
· Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in accordance with appropriate codes (e.g., Canadian Electrical Code)
