## Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Abatement Supervisor to oversee asbestos abatement projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asbestos management and a keen eye for detail.
## Duties
- Develop and implement asbestos management plans in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct asbestos inspections and assessments
- Coordinate asbestos abatement projects, including overseeing contractors and ensuring proper removal procedures
- Monitor air quality during abatement activities
- Maintain accurate records of asbestos-containing materials and removal activities
- Train staff on asbestos awareness and safety protocols
-Organize and manage a team of various sizes, working with the Project Manager to ensure timelines are kept
## Qualifications
- Certification as an Asbestos Supervisor, Level 3 by WorkSafe BC
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in asbestos management
- Knowledge of building construction, restoration, and demolition processes
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and equipment for asbestos removal
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay: $32.00-$37.00 per hour
