Job Summary
The Terminal Operator will support the safe loading, unloading, transferring, inspection, and documentation of finished products, raw materials, chemicals, rail cars, trucks, storage tanks, and related equipment. This is a strong opportunity for a safety-focused, mechanically inclined operator who enjoys physical work, outdoor/field operations, and being part of a reliable team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload finished products, raw materials, chemical totes, dry goods, trucks, rail cars, and storage tanks according to logistics schedules and quality requirements.
- Safely access rail cars, chemical trucks, tanks, and elevated work areas while wearing required PPE and fall arrest equipment.
- Communicate with plant personnel and rail shunting services during rail switches, loading activities, unloading activities, and daily terminal operations.
- Complete required documentation, including checklists, bills of lading, scale tickets, last contained tickets, wash tickets, and related operating records.
- Perform routine field readings, equipment inspections, sampling, testing, small repairs, and basic maintenance activities.
- Monitor and support wastewater, sanitary water, and storm water systems while following all safety and environmental procedures.
