Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Line Cook
The Line Cook will be expected to execute the preparation and cooking of Jimmy’s Pub & Grill’s menu items that meet the quality, presentation, and timing standards of our Chefs
- Must be able to work calmly in a very high-paced environment
- Accountable to follow recipes and portion controls properly
- Responsible for setting up stations and restocking items; must organize, sanitize, and clean the kitchen, storage areas and coolers
- Expected to handle, store and rotate all products properly
- Comfortable in catering to banquets and work well assisting others in the kitchen
- Independently close the kitchen by completing all specified shut down and side duties
· Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes in accordance with menu specifications
· Adjust food items and ingredients to accommodate guests with allergies or specific concerns
· Assist in menu planning and estimating food requirements.
· Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
· Operates various kitchen appliances. Keeps records and accounts of food purchases.
· Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control.
· Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
· Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
· Perform related duties as assigned by the kitchen supervisor
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
