Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered/Resident Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team as a Resident Physiotherapist. This role involves providing exceptional patient care, developing personalized treatment plans, and supporting patients through their recovery process. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospital settings, acute care, and pediatrics, with a strong understanding of medical terminology. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, and restoring function.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy techniques accordingly to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate effective treatment strategies.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, therapeutic exercises, and post-treatment care routines.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest physiotherapy practices, medical terminology, and industry standards through ongoing professional development.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control procedures within clinical settings.
- Jane app scheduling/knowledge and Direct billing
- Available to start with Sunday (10AM to 4PM), Monday (11AM to 8PM) and Wednesday (2-3PM to 8PM) and Friday (2-3PM to 8PM)
- You earn a set percentage of the revenue generated from your patient visits.
Experience
- Prior hospital experience is highly preferred, especially in acute care environments.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is considered an asset.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality patient care with compassion and professionalism.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning are essential for success in this role.
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
