Established in 2017, Railyard Brewing is based in Calgary, AB, with a commitment to producing an exceptional local product. Thanks to our hardworking team and incredibly loyal customers, we are currently experiencing a period of exciting expansion. To support the increasing demand for our flagship beers and to help lead the rollout of several exclusive upcoming brand initiatives, we are adding a brand-new position to our sales department. We are looking for a professional Brand Partner who is passionate about community-centric marketing and high-quality craft beer.
THE OPPORTUNITY
In this commission-based role, you will inherit a warm portfolio of established accounts, allowing you to focus on nurturing long-term relationships while strategically growing our core brand presence. You will lead the charge in expanding our mainstay lineup, using our specialized series and community-focused projects as powerful tools to differentiate Railyard in a competitive market.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Portfolio Stewardship: Manage and grow a successful portfolio of existing retail and on-premises partners, serving as their primary point of contact and brand expert.
- Core Brand Growth: Drive the consistent sales and distribution of our flagship and seasonal beers, ensuring Railyard remains a permanent fixture in your accounts.
- Strategic Differentiation: Leverage our upcoming project launches and exclusive brand collaborations as strategic tools to open new doors and reward loyal partners.
- Account Strategy: Provide high-level service to our partners, using our innovative release schedule to strengthen their overall commitment to the full Railyard portfolio.
- Market Ambassadorship: Represent the brewery at industry events and community activations, acting as a knowledgeable and approachable face of the "Yard."
- Collaborative Feedback: Work closely with our leadership team to provide "on-the-ground" insights as we scale out our new initiatives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- The Professional: 1–3 years of experience in sales, account management, or hospitality (a talent for building rapport and professional storytelling is essential).
- The Communicator: Exceptional interpersonal skills; you enjoy finding "win-win" solutions and building genuine professional friendships.
- The Self-Starter: Organized and motivated, with the ability to manage your own schedule and territory effectively.
- The Basics: A valid driver’s license, a clean driving abstract, and a reliable vehicle for territory travel.
- The Passion: A genuine interest in the Alberta craft scene and a desire to be part of a supportive, diverse, and high-energy team.
